Vendor Policies 2011
Saturday, October 1, 2011
(set-up time is 7:00-8:00AM)
1. Registration Forms and registration must be received by us no later than September 15th (food vendors by July 15th). Send a #10 self addressed stamped envelope so confirmation and location map can be sent to you by September 15th. No confirmation will be sent without the S.A.S.E.
SPACES ARE ON A FIRST REQUESTED AND PAID BASIS. All assignments are final.
2. Spaces are 15’X10’ for $45.00 or 2 for $90.00. Please keep in mind that these spaces are outdoors and you should have some sort of shelter from the weather. If you will be selling from a vehicle, the vehicle should not exceed your allotted space. You provide your own tables and chairs.
3. Check-In: The Penrose Chamber of Commerce booth will be near the grandstand. If you need help finding your assigned space, a map will be available.
4. Vendors may not set up Saturday before 7:00 AM. Our permit does not allow vendors to set up prior to 7:00AM on Saturday (Friday night set up not allowed). Artists and vendors should remain at their booth during the show for the duration. Please no early take-downs. For safety, vehicles will not be allowed onto Broadway until 4:00 p.m. Please leave the area clean before you leave and place trash in the designated trash containers. Trash bags will be available at the Chamber booth. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.
5. General requirements: The show is open to all crafters and artists. To protect the artists and crafters, all handmade work should be original to the artist. We rely on the integrity of the vendor regarding this matter. All non-hand-crafted items will be subject to approval by the Vendor Committee. Only items listed on the registration form will be allowed to be sold. Each vendor is responsible for their own display. No tables or chairs are provided. Electricity will not be available. If you need electricity you will have to provide it yourself with the use of a generator. Please place your generator back away from the street to shield the noise. Excessive noise won’t be allowed.
6. Food and drink may only be sold by a licensed vendor. Homemade food items may be sold only by licensed or non-profit organizations. Please enclose a copy of your food license. Non-profits send proof of status. No public drinking of alcohol will be allowed. This rule will be enforced by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department.
7. The Penrose Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for the loss or damage to your equipment. The Vendors signature on the Registration form releases the Penrose Chamber of Commerce from all liability, including injury or damages.
